Terms & conditions
Clear rules for how we work together.
Last updated: October 4, 2026
Your code is yours
What we build for you becomes yours once paid, unless we agree otherwise.
Scope in writing
Every project has an SOW with deliverables, timeline and price.
Confidentiality
Your information and your business's are treated as confidential.
01Acceptance
By using this site you accept these terms. If you disagree, please don't use it. We may update them; the date of the latest version is shown above.
02Services and scope
QueryBlocks provides software engineering, cloud architecture, data, product design and team extension (outsourcing) services. The scope, deliverables, timeline and fees of each engagement are defined in an SOW or contract signed by both parties.
Scope changes are agreed in writing before they are carried out and may change the timeline and price.
03Fees and payment
Fees, currency, milestones and payment terms are set out in the SOW. Late payments may pause work until the account is up to date. Applicable taxes are not included unless the SOW says otherwise.
04Intellectual property
Unless the SOW says otherwise, code, designs and deliverables created specifically for you become yours once the corresponding payment is complete.
QueryBlocks keeps its pre-existing and general-purpose libraries, tools, templates and know-how, and grants you a licence to use them as part of what is delivered. We may mention the project in our portfolio unless we agree otherwise in writing.
05Confidentiality
Each party will treat the other's non-public information as confidential and use it only to carry out the project. This does not apply to information that is public, already known, or that must be disclosed by law.
06Warranties and liability
We work rigorously, but software is complex and we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. This site's content is provided “as is”.
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for a service is limited to the fees paid for that service, and we are not liable for indirect damages such as lost profits or data loss.
07Use of the site
You agree to:
- Not attempt to breach the security of the site or our infrastructure.
- Not reverse engineer or scrape content in bulk through automated means.
- Not use the site for unlawful purposes or impersonate others.
08Termination
Either party may end a project as provided in its SOW. On termination, you pay for work carried out up to that date and we hand over the work completed.
09Governing law
The governing law and the way disputes are resolved for each project are set in its contract or SOW. We will always try to resolve any difference directly and in good faith.
